Becoming a Cleaning Team Member
PetraClean currently require Cleaners to join our team, with jobs available across Perth (north and south of the river). Working between 20-40 hours, depending on your work rights in Australia – we are looking for Cleaners to provide a range of cleaning services in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene for our customers. Once onboarded, inducted, and provided hands-on training, our cleaning team members will work unsupervised and must be able to manage their time efficiently.
As a Cleaner you will dust, wipe, vacuum, sweep, mop, spot clean, empty bins and disinfect all areas requiring servicing.
How PetraClean is different
- All equipment provided on site. As a team member of PetraClean, you will find cleaning chemicals, equipment and products available for use.
- The time required is the time given. If a clean takes one hour to complete, we give you one hour to complete it. We never rush our contractors and give you enough time to do every job properly.
- Prompt payment. You will never be waiting for your payment. Our team members are always paid fortnightly and on time.
Experience and skills required
- Experience in office and workplace cleaning.
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks as delegated, within a timely manner and to a high standard.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to read and write in English.
- Basic level of computer skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and friendly manner.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to receive feedback and use that as a means of improvement and self-development.
Non-negotiable requirements
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence or overseas driver’s licence.
- Able to work in Australia – as a permanent resident or Visa holder.
- Own road safe vehicle.
- Able to pass random and targeted drug and alcohol screening test.
- Provide a National Police Clearance.
- If required by our customers, a current COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate may be requested.
